Sharing the Mocha Love!
Last night, while preparing to teach a class at Region XI Service Center, I got it into my head that I needed to update my presentation with some of the newer 2.0 tools out there. After all, there are only a gazillion new tools being introduced to the universe ever nanosecond. And while I set out on my quest for the coolest and hippest – not to mention the most educationally applicable, I realized that I was a very happy Diva. I absolutely love to discover new tools to use in the classroom! The thrill of discovery, or vicarious thrill if you have good people to learn from (check out my Fellow Addicts links in the right column), is addictive!
I know I am a nerd, but I get so jazzed about finding something to bring to my teachers that may inspire them, help them, reach that one kiddo who seemed unreachable….or that instills a love of integration that may have been missing before. Sigh…it’s like fuzzy slippers, Bailey’s and coffee, chocolate, and Christmas! Ahhhh!
It can be hard not to get distracted by the really cool, but useless, apps out there…and finding just the right app when there are a thousand just like it that claim to be better can be a challenge, but it’s a challenge I love to take on! I am going to have to blog more of my journey so I can share my finds with a larger audience…share the mocha love – you know what I’m sayin’? That’s my not-yet-New-Year’s resolution. So get ready for some serious blogging people. It’s a-comin’!
