I invariably learn new and incredibly useful things that I can bring back to my teachers! ScribeFire is one of them! I'd not heard of it until my buddy from White Oak, Scott Floyd, introduced me to it! I'm really enjoying the ease with which I can post to my blog straight from FireFox. Woot!

I am learning so much! What's cooler than that?....well...sharing it, of course!

This nifty little web 2.0 gem lets you create 3D rooms to store your stuff - blog, forum, photos, etc....all while being surprisingly easy to use. I've gone in and just played with it myself, althought I've surfed through several teacher-made sites that are quite good.

My goal is to expose every art teacher in my district to the potential for allowing students to create their own galleries where their OWN art adorns the walls - accompanied by text pieces they've written to help enhance the viewer's experience through explanation of their techniques, inspiration, and other artsy-language artsy goodness that will please across the curriculum.
